Medway City Vets is a friendly small animal, first opinion practice in Rochester, where vets, nurses, patient care assistants and receptionists work together around shared values of honesty, fairness, loyalty and fun. About this role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys the variety of first opinion practice and wants genuine clinical autonomy within a supportive team.

You will manage a varied medical and surgical caseload, lead diagnostic investigations and make informed decisions in the best interests of your patients. You will also have opportunities to guide colleagues, share your experience and contribute to the clinical standards and continued development of the practice.

The role gives you room to work confidently and independently, without working in isolation. Support is available through your immediate colleagues, Vet Oracle telemedicine specialists, the Advanced Clinical Services Network and Regional Clinical Leads.

Our Rochester location provides a practical base for veterinary professionals living across Medway and wider Kent. The practice is commutable from Chatham, Rainham, Sittingbourne, Whitstable, Sheerness, Minster-on-Sea, Maidstone, Gravesend, Dartford, Faversham, Ashford and Staplehurst, as well as parts of London.

This broad connectivity gives you greater choice around where you live while keeping the practice accessible from coastal, rural and more urban areas across the region.
