Urgent Care Assistant - Chippenham (out of hours, overnight shifts)

As an Urgent Care Assistant, you will undertake a dual role of driving and reception work to support the efficient operation of Integrated Urgent Care services across the South West locality.

We operate a 24/7, 365 days a year service, on a rolling 4-week rota pattern to be agreed following a successful interview, providing care to our service users. The role involves non-clinical support to clinicians and patients using the NHS 111 and GP Out of Hours service. Flexibility is required, and there may be occasional opportunities to work outside of contracted hours to facilitate smooth operational running.

Our Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service is available to patients registered with a GP within the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire Integrated Care System. The Urgent Care service operates across Wiltshire with bases in Chippenham, Keynsham, Salisbury, and Swindon. The rota may include the following hours:

• Monday to Friday 18:15/18:30 – 23:00 (Evenings)
• Monday to Friday 23:00 – 08:00 (Overnights)
• Saturday to Monday 08:00 – 08:00 (Including AM, PM, Evening, or Overnight Shifts)

Overnight working is a required part of this role.
