Careers that change lives start here. Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a Mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our 95,000 employees work across more than 150 countries to put patients first β€” developing innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of 72+ million patients each year. Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.

The Endoscopy Operating Unit, part of the Medical Surgery Portfolio Group, focuses on delivering unmatched value to its customers by providing innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes, lower the cost of healthcare delivery and allow early detection and then treatment of chronic diseases and cancers affecting the entire GI Tract and Hepatopancreatic system.

This role is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact, practical capability solutions that improve clinical credibility, commercial effectiveness, and field performance across Western Europe, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan & China). The role goes beyond traditional training β€” focusing on the development of hands-on learning, simulation tools, and real-world application to ensure teams can confidently translate clinical evidence into meaningful customer impact. The role works in close partnership with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, and external clinical experts (HCPs).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Design and develop practical, field-based training programmes that translate clinical data into effective sales and clinical conversations.
  • Build scenario-based and hands-on learning solutions, including simulations and tools that reinforce procedural and product understanding.
  • Deliver high-impact training across regions (virtual and in-person), supporting new hire onboarding, capability development, and product launches.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, and HCPs to align training with business priorities and real-world needs.
  • Drive adoption and consistent field application of training programmes through feedback, validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Own end-to-end programme management, including logistics, digital content maintenance, certification tracking, and accountability for delivery and completion.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • MedTech experience (Endoscopy / Gastroenterology strongly preferred)
  • Experience in training, sales enablement, clinical support, or commercial roles
  • Proven ability to build practical training or learning solutions (not just deliver content)
  • Strong commercial understanding of customer interactions and value-based selling
  • Ability to translate complex clinical information into simple, actionable messaging
  • Experience working across countries and cultures
  • Fluency in English
  • Formal training qualification (e.g. TAP Diploma or Certificate), with experience in hands-on procedural training or simulation tools would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience collaborating with HCPs and KOLs, supporting product launches or commercial transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Proficiency in additional European language(s) will be a clear advantage.
