A Day in the Life The Therapy Sales Representative (TSR) role promotes, sells and supports the Pain therapies products and services. The role is accountable for driving sales and market share within the North East England.
The TSR needs to have a strong commercial mindset looking to take competitive market share focusing their work on leveraging the portfolio within key accounts. They will need to demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with consultants and nursing teams, providing onsite clinical support ensuring Medtronic’s unique sensing technology is used to deliver the very best outcomes and experience for our patients. The candidate must have a deep desire to understand the science behind sensing in Neuromodulation and ensure the customer and patients experience with our devices and programming are fully utilised to its potential.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Accountable for hitting set targets by focusing on driving Medtronic share in competitive accounts
  • Maintain / build / strengthen relationships with clinical / economic stakeholders
  • Provide and support to facilitate technology adoption and supports patient needs (e.g., programming). Perform trouble-shooting functions and resolve customer issues in key accounts
  • Effectively collaborate with technical, clinical and engineer teams to ensure best use and practices of our devices within key accounts
  • Ensure competitor knowledge remains up to date along with the ability to promote Medtronic products in line with clinician and service needs
  • Data monitoring

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Sales/commercial experience in healthcare (preferably neuromodulation or neurosurgery).
  • Scientific degree and clinical interests (preferred Neuroscience)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and Influencing skills
  • Full Current UK Driving Licence
