We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, revenue processes, inventory integrity, cost control and digital finance transformation across our Managed Services. This role combines technical accounting, commercial finance, and systems/process transformation – ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, complex, and internationally connected environment. The position is hybrid (2 days in the office) and is a 12‑month temporary contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end close activities, including journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Medtronic internal controls (SOX), and global accounting policies.
- Manage revenue accruals, contract billing, and revenue recognition.
- Reconcile inventory and validate pricing across SAP and Ingenica systems to ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with teams to support customer profitability.
- Support audit readiness, technical accounting for complex transactions, and implementation of new standards.
- Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Improve finance processes, controls, and data flows across SAP, Ingenica, and related systems.
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional accounting qualifications (Part‑qualified at final stage considered).
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of UK/US GAAP principles, cost accounting, month‑end close, journal entries, revenue recognition and margin analysis.
- Proactive mindset with passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Benefits and Compensation
