A Day in the Life
Medtronic’s Enterprise Accounts & Integrated Health Solutions (EA&IHS) focuses on transforming healthcare through long-term partnerships that go beyond devices—bringing together services, solutions, digital tools, and data. The Senior Content Marketing Specialist will play a key role in bringing this value proposition to life through compelling content that communicates the impact of our work, showcases customer success, and supports business growth.
This role goes beyond traditional content creation. We are looking for a creative and strategic storyteller who can translate complex healthcare topics into engaging content, while leveraging AI, emerging formats, and audience insights to maximize reach and impact. The successful candidate will help strengthen EA&IHS’s thought leadership, support customer engagement, and create content that enables commercial teams across the EurAsia region. This role will require willingness to travel for team meetings, workshops, and customer engagements.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develop and execute strategic content plans that align with business priorities, key campaigns, and market opportunities while ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning.
- Create compelling, high-quality content across multiple formats, including articles, case studies, white papers, videos, social media, web content, webinars, and executive communications.
- Transform complex business and healthcare topics into engaging, audience-centric stories that strengthen thought leadership and market differentiation.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to enhance content creation, personalization, workflow efficiency, and content scalability.
- Lead the development and management of editorial calendars, flagship content initiatives, and internal communication channels, including the weekly newsletter.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, creative agencies, and content contributors to deliver high-impact, strategically aligned content.
- Monitor content performance through analytics and KPIs, continuously optimizing content strategies and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Master’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of content marketing experience with a proven track record of driving brand awareness, audience engagement, and business results.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Experience working in matrixed, multicultural, and international environments, collaborating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple content initiatives, agencies, and end-to-end content production processes.
- Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., AEM, WordPress, SharePoint) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strategic, data-driven, and highly collaborative mindset, with strong project management, stakeholder influencing, and AI adoption capabilities; experience in healthcare or other regulated industries and additional European languages are a plus.
