A Day in the Life
Are you passionate about advancing healthcare through scientific engagement and clinical excellence? We are seeking an experienced Principal Medical Science Liaison to join our Neuromodulation & Pelvic Health team. In this strategic role, you will build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders while driving scientific exchange and supporting professional society engagement.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- You will play a pivotal role in communicating the clinical value of our innovative products, supporting strategic initiatives, and contributing to the successful implementation of medical affairs activities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, medical societies, and other external stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate, balanced, and evidence-based clinical and scientific information on Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health products.
- Lead and implement strategic medical affairs initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Support professional society engagement, continuing medical education programmes, workshops, and scientific events.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of clinical evidence and communicate the value and outcomes of products to a variety of audiences.
- Provide scientific and clinical expertise to support product lifecycle activities, including the introduction of new therapies and the growth of existing products.
- Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in a relevant scientific, clinical, or healthcare discipline, typically gained through postgraduate education and significant professional experience.
- Experience within healthcare, preferably in the medical device industry or regulated clinical research.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A willingness to travel frequently.
