This is an exciting opportunity to join Medtronic Neuromodulation team as a Finance Business Partner for 12-months assignment to play a vital role in a highly dynamic environment driving a positive impact on $70M business. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and strategic mindset to provide financial leadership to Neuromodulation commercial team in North-Europe cluster (United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands and Nordics) to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP), gain market share and shape long-term growth strategy.
This is a temporary, 12 months contract.
A Day in the Life
• Partner with North-Europe Business Director and his country leadership teams in all finance related aspects
• Proactively challenge and influence commercial teams on key business initiatives, promote data-based decisions and contribute to profitability improvement
• Advise business partners on allocating resources within North-Europe Neuromodulation cluster, managing expense targets and driving return on investments
• Perform monthly P&L variance analysis and articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights to business leaders; submit Narratives
• Lead monthly Latest Best Estimates (LBE) process
• Take full responsibility for quarterly financial Rolling forecasts, Annual operating plan (AOP) and contribute to Strategic planning when needed
• Closely collaborate with cluster Marketing and Commercial excellence teams and engage with peers across International (Western Europe, Japan, China and ANZ) to share best practices
• Cover a broad range of activities from strategic to operational depending on the priorities
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Senior level experience in Finance and/or Accounting
• Business acumen, ability to understand the business and influence key stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify key trends and drivers
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple and conflicting deadlines and priorities
• Strong work ethic; proven track record for delivering on commitments, attention to details
• Partnering mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills, experience in multi-cultural environment
• Role requires occasional travel of 1-2 business trips per quarter
• Fluent English, both verbally and written
• Experience/familiarity with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Hyperion, CMR and SAP, Anaplan
