As our Contract Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all contracts and agreements from tender award until contract expiration. You will ensure contracts are reviewed and interpreted to align with internal processes and commitment. This includes reviewing terms and conditions, negotiating terms that can impose a risk to Medtronic and managing changes or amendments upon conclusion. You will also be the go‑to person for contractual queries, and it is expected that you partner with your stakeholders and understand initiatives they are currently working on that could impact on existing contracts. This role is offered on our hybrid base model which means you will be required to attend Medtronic office in Watford 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Process, load and manage all contract extensions
  • Collaborate with procurement and stakeholders to review and implement call‑offs and member agreements
  • Be responsible for contract implementation ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions
  • Proactively utilise available tools, systems, and resources to gather and provide comprehensive information when addressing requests. Ensure all relevant details are compiled and communicated before escalating or transferring tasks to other team members
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for enterprise accounts, providing expert guidance and support on all contractual matters
  • Be the Gatekeeper and SME for Salesforce Contract Repository ensuring compliance and adherence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in experience
  • Self‑motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Ability to understand process flows, implement these and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Be good at prioritising, a proactive person who can switch between different tasks, and handle multiple tasks in parallel
  • Excellent collaboration skills to gather necessary information and build trust
  • Demonstrable team player, outgoing with a \"can do\" attitude
  • Customer relationship / Key Account management experience
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
