Typical Day

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) partners with healthcare providers to improve operational and clinical outcomes through healthcare supply chain, equipment, and managed service solutions. This role supports the delivery of Operating Room Managed Services (ORMS) and Cath Lab Managed Services (CLMS) projects across materials management, managed equipment services, and turnkey solution implementations.

The Service Activation Manager, Integrated Health Solutions leads complex healthcare supply chain managed service projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization. Working closely with business development teams, operational subject matter experts, customers, and external partners, this role ensures projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations. This position is virtually based in Watford, United Kingdom and follows a Flex (Hybrid) working model. Approximately 10% is required across the EurAsia region to support customer implementations, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery activities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead the successful delivery of Operating Room Managed Services (ORMS) and Cath Lab Managed Services (CLMS) projects, ensuring achievement of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
  • Define project plans, milestones, deliverables, and success measures in collaboration with business development teams and operational subject matter experts.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests, implementing mitigation plans to maintain project performance.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout project execution, building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, external vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
  • Drive project governance, including status reporting, stakeholder communications, decision tracking, escalation management, and implementation reviews.
  • Apply Project Management Office (PMO) standards, methodologies, tools, and quality requirements to ensure consistent project execution and regulatory compliance.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of project management experience supporting National Health Service (NHS) customers, including healthcare supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent.
  • Experience using project management tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Project and Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Experience working within managed services, outsourcing, or healthcare operations environments.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills including Dutch, Danish, French, or German are preferred.
