In this exciting and challenging position as a Clinical Specialist you will be driving the clinical education of the Endoscopy portfolio targeting a broad range of diseases in the Gastrointestinal (GI) tract in London and the South East of the United Kingdom. As most of the technologies are at an early stage of market development, a key part of this role will be to accelerate the adoption of these innovative diagnostic and therapeutic solutions. By joining our Endoscopy team, you will be working with cutting edge technologies such as AI, and innovations that created new MedTech categories, and we have a rich innovation pipeline. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide product training, education and support to customers to increase understanding, and proficiency in the use, of Medtronic Endoscopy products
  • Report on training activity within the designated region, to Regional and National Sales Managers
  • Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and problem solve HCP queries
  • Support regional and national sales strategy, working with regional sales team to achieve business plans and drive utilization of Medtronic Endoscopy products
  • Support professional conferences to promote Medtronic Endoscopy products
  • Support internal training of the Sales Team by participating in, and conducting, product training to ensure they are fully equipped to successfully drive their business

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a healthcare related (medical or scientific) discipline
  • Passion for the healthcare business and thorough understanding of the national / local health care system
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Full, clean driver’s license

Knowledge and experience in the field of Endoscopy would be a distinct advantage. We are looking for someone who is assertive, persistent and goal oriented but also a strong team player with a “can-do“ attitude and the ability to work in a fast changing, demanding and highly matrixed business environment.
