The Pelvic Health Territory Manager will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, defending existing business, and generating new patient growth within an assigned region through the sale and promotion of InterStim (the brand name for Medtronic’s Sacral Neuromodulation portfolio). The role will also ensure existing accounts are managed effectively by supporting procedures, managing inventory, and upselling appropriate services and programmes. The individual will build and develop strong relationships with all relevant external stakeholders, while working collaboratively with the team’s Business Development Manager, Technical Consultants, Marketing, Operations, and other Sales colleagues within Pelvic Health and across Medtronic to drive business growth, revenue, and profitability. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key accounts/hospitals include those in Newcastle, Hull, and Leeds, which also represent the geographical boundaries of the territory. This is a temporary 12-month role.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:- Develop and execute account strategies and tactics across Northeast England and Yorkshire
- Implement quarterly sales plans and achieve sales goals and objectives
- Effectively manage territory inventory and work with Operations and Customer Care to ensure targets are met
- Identify selling opportunities and work closely with the Pelvic Health organisation to improve pelvic floor service efficiencies
- Provide clinical implant support to theatre teams during Sacral Neuromodulation procedures
- Participate in the development of employee and customer training and education programmes
- Support and participate in regional events such as congresses and customer events
- Proven ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong team player with a track record of collaborative working
- Experience in medical device or surgical sales
- Strong presentation skills
- Full UK driving licence
