Known for pioneering technologies and advanced revision solutions, the business works in close partnership with surgeons to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
As part of continued UK growth, they are seeking a National Revision & Custom Implant Specialist to drive adoption of their revision and bespoke 3D-printed implant portfolio across the UK.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, national specialist role focused on complex hip and knee revision surgery and custom implant solutions. Working closely with regional Business Development Managers, Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists, you will support complex cases, develop strategic centres, and act as the subject matter expert for the revision and custom portfolio. This role blends specialist sales, clinical expertise, business development and product leadership, making it ideal for an experienced orthopaedic professional looking to step into a national, value-added position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the national specialist for the revision and custom implant portfolio.
- Support complex hip and knee revision cases, including pre-operative planning and implant strategy.
- Work in partnership with Business Development Managers and Territory Managers to develop and convert high-value opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Specialists to ensure optimal theatre support for complex procedures.
- Drive adoption of bespoke 3D-printed implant solutions.
- Deliver product education and training to internal sales teams and surgeons.
- Provide market feedback to support product development and marketing initiatives.
- Represent the business at national meetings, events and educational forums.
About You
You’ll be an experienced orthopaedic professional with strong clinical credibility and a passion for complex revision surgery.
Essential:
- 4–5+ years experience in orthopaedic medical devices (ideally hip & knee).
- Exposure to revision surgery and/or custom implant solutions.
- Strong clinical understanding and ability to engage senior surgeons.
- Commercially astute and comfortable supporting high-value, complex cases.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally.
Desirable:
- Background as a territory manager, sales specialist, clinical specialist or product manager.
- Experience with bespoke or 3D-printed implant technologies.
