An established global leader in orthopaedic and surgical solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager – Hip & Knee (North England) to join their high-performing UK team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced medical device sales professional to step into a broader commercial leadership role, taking ownership of a key UK region while managing and developing a Territory Sales Manager.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive commercial growth across North England, delivering and exceeding regional sales targets
  • Manage, coach, and support one Territory Manager to maximise performance and development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre teams, procurement leads, and key NHS/private stakeholders
  • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and in-theatre support (no direct patient contact)
  • Provide accurate forecasting, market insights, and competitive intelligence to senior leadership
  • Lead regional engagement at conferences, training events, and industry exhibitions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in orthopaedic medical device sales (hip and/or knee experience essential)
  • Previous experience in a senior territory, key account, or early leadership role preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with a structured, results-driven approach
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of NHS and independent healthcare networks across North England
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the region

  • £35,000 bonus + 9% of territory revenue over target
