Join a Leader in Orthopaedic Innovation. Our client is a respected British orthopaedic manufacturer with over 50 years of experience delivering clinically proven hip, knee and revision solutions. With strong UK growth and an expanding portfolio, the business continues to invest in high-calibre commercial talent. They are now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the North of England.
The Opportunity
This is a strategic, field-based sales role responsible for developing key accounts, winning new business and driving adoption of the orthopaedic portfolio across the region. Working closely with Clinical Specialists and internal teams, you will play a pivotal role in growing market share and strengthening surgeon partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop key accounts across the North of England.
- Drive new business acquisition and convert competitor business.
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, procurement and theatre teams.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans using market and CRM data.
- Work closely with Clinical Specialists to support procedures and deliver value.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.
- Represent the business professionally and ethically at all times.
About You
You will be a driven, commercially minded orthopaedic sales professional with a strong track record of success.
Essential
- Minimum 3 years success in orthopaedic medical device sales.
- Strong knowledge of hip and/or knee arthroplasty.
- Proven ability to develop and grow key accounts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience within joint replacement or revision surgery.
- Degree educated.
