Reports To: Service Manager
As a Field Service and Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and servicing of all company products across the region of England. You will provide exceptional after-sales support, ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of service. This role involves regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Installation: Install, repair, and service all company equipment at customer sites within the region.
- Customer Support: Deliver outstanding after-sales support, addressing customer queries and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Sales Team Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
- Communication: Liaise effectively with customers and all levels of company personnel, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Travel: Willingness to travel throughout the Northern region, with periodic overnight stays as required.
Attributes & Skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong customer service and commercial awareness.
- Excellent IT literacy; able to use, install, and configure software.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Physically capable of performing installation and service duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified to HND/HNC or degree level in electronics, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven ability to adapt to technical situations and troubleshoot effectively.
