To lead our UK & European growth, we are looking for a commercially sharp, well-connected, and self-driven sales leader who can open doors, close deals, and work hand-in-hand with our wider team to build something exceptional. As Head of UK & Europe, Sales and Business Development, you will own MedTech World's commercial performance across the UK and European markets. You will be generating pipeline, closing sponsors and partners, and setting the commercial standard for the region. You will work directly with the CEO and the wider sales and partnerships team, and your work will have a direct and visible impact on the business. Lead the full sales cycle independently, from prospecting and outreach through to proposal, negotiation, and close. Develop tailored commercial proposals that match sponsor and partner objectives to MedTech World's event portfolio. Represent MedTech World at industry events, conferences, and networking forums across Europe to build brand presence and generate leads. Provide regular pipeline reports, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to the leadership team. Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across the European region, including government bodies, trade associations, accelerators, and innovation hubs. Remote. Relocation to our Malta HQ is also welcomed and supported. Proven track record in senior sales or business development within the events, MedTech, HealthTech, or life sciences sectors. A strong existing network across European MedTech, HealthTech, or healthcare innovation that you can activate from day one. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing high-value commercial agreements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally for events and client meetings. Experience with CRM platforms and a disciplined approach to pipeline management. Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages are a strong advantage. Commercially sharp, with a proven instinct for identifying opportunities, building pipeline, and closing deals without needing direction. Proactive and self-directed, you spot commercial opportunities before they are pointed out and move on them quickly. Ambitious, you want to grow into a VP of Sales or Chief Commercial Officer role as MedTech World scales, and you see this as the platform to get there. A background in MedTech, HealthTech, life sciences, events, or B2B sales within a high-growth environment is a strong advantage. That said, a strong existing network, commercial instinct, and the drive to build something matter more than any single credential. This role is not the right fit if you are looking for a structured corporate sales environment with long approval chains, prefer inbound-only pipeline, or are not comfortable working autonomously across multiple markets simultaneously.
