ASSOCIATE LEVEL - SURGICAL MEDICAL SALES - ORTHOPAEDICS
£40,000-£45,000 Basic + £20,000 Bonus + £7,000 company car allowance
Territory: M4 Corridor (you must live on territory)
This is a great opportunity to start your surgical sales career with one of the UK\'s leading orthopaedic companies, covering accounts across the M4 corridor: Slough, Reading, Newbury, Basingstoke, Swindon, Bath.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate that they are a very driven, individual, whose strengths lie in their people skills and a real desire to exceed targets.
Essential Requirements:
- You will have a Biomedical Science / Biology / Sports Science degree, or a similar science-based degree - because if successful you will predominantly be based in surgical theatres with surgeons instructing on the clients\' products
- You will hold a FULL UK driving licence – this is a field based territory role and comes with a car allowance
- In order to be successful you will need to demonstrate that you are extremely confident, self motivated, credible, resilient and a hard-working individual who possesses a dynamic engaging personality
- You have the ability to learn quickly & retain technical product knowledge and are capable of dealing with technical surgical devices and equipment in a surgical environment
- You REALLY want a career in sales, where the more you put in, the more you get out
- You need to live within the M4 corridor territory mentioned above OR be actively looking to relocate to this area and be willing to move immediately upon being offered the role, and prior to starting
The Position:
- This is a customer sales support role with elements of both account maintenance and account development
- It is a consultative sell, where you will be spending a great deal of time in the operating theatre, speaking to surgeons while they are operating on patients and supporting with technical expertise on the client products
