The Product Specialist will take Sales and Account Management responsibility for the Burns & Plastics portfolio in the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in the Burns & Plastics portfolio across a range of specialist areas within the territory.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities in both the private and public healthcare markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including Network leads, Burns & Plastic Consultant Surgeons, Designated Individuals, Clinical Nurse Specialists, hospital procurement teams, Theatre teams and clinical Service Leads.
  • Maintain & develop current business within account base.
  • Increase market share and brand awareness by building strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, Burns Networks and healthcare providers.
  • Promote the company's portfolio of Wound healing products and services, including equipment, diagnostics, treatments, and software solutions.

Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the Burns & Wound Healing sector, both from an acute and chronic wound perspective including medical devices, diagnostics, treatments, and technologies.
  • A strong set of clinician relationships within the field of Burns and Wound healing, built on a broad level of personal respect gained within the industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities in a competitive healthcare market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
