Overview Our well respected and renouned Healthcare establishment provides urgent medical advice and assessment to all patients living in the Worcester area when normal primary care is closed.
Operating between 6:30pm to 8am weekdays and 24 hours across weekends and bank holidays, the service provides advice and treatment for patients that have either called 111 or have entered the service through other means and require urgent primary care management.
The service is provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes GPs, Nurse and Paramedic practitioners, administrative and operational colleagues, all working together to provide clinical care from 3 main bases in Kidderminster, Reddich and Worcester, offering sessions over the telephone or home visits.
Duties The service is now seeking to recruit GPs to join their workforce in the GP OOH service.
The current vacant shifts are predominantly face to face and available in the evening and overnight period 7 days a week - priority will be given to GPs who can commit to working face to face shifts during the evenings and overnights.
If you are an interested GP and are seeking daytime shifts across the week or only telephone triage work, please be aware that availability of these shifts is limited but still available.
