  • – Support Health, Safety and Environmental meetings, audits and action tracking, including preparing presentations, minutes and follow-up actions.
  • – Support the development and maintenance of risk assessments, safe operating procedures and training materials.
  • – Create, update and allocate LMS training courses, toolbox talks and bite-size learning content on Health, Safety and Environmental topics.
  • – Coordinate administration relating to accident and near-miss investigations, ensuring records and follow-up actions are maintained.

  • – Prepare and submit compliance reports relating to packaging and waste.
  • – Support internal and external audits relating to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • – Provide cover for the Business Administrator during periods of absence.

Hours of work: 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday, typically 8am – 4pm, based at Head Office in Castle Donington.

Experience Needed :-

  • – Experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental coordination or administrative role.
  • – Ideally, an IOSH qualification or equivalent experience gained within a similar role for at least three years.
  • – Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • – Experience creating documents, presentations, training materials and reports.
  • – Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel; experience with Power Point and Visio would be desirable.
  • – Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and follow tasks through to completion.
  • – Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.
  • – Full driving licence, as some travel may be required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and wants to make a meaningful contribution to Health, Safety, Environmental and Fleet performance across the organisation.

In addition to the salary and related benefits, you will join a company that has grown extensively within the last five years and, through our unique ownership model, is continuing to grow, whilst offering great career opportunities for those who are keen to progress.
