We’re now looking for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team in Castle Donington on a full-time, temporary basis for 6 months (potential to lead to permanent).
Medstrom, established in 2010, has grown substantially by being patient-focused to become the organisation we are today, whilst maintaining an open culture and ethos. In 2022, Medstrom became an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), allowing each employee to have a vested interest in the company, where we can all contribute to and share in the company’s success.
Responsibilities
- Assemble Medstrom products in line with manufacturing schedules and customer requirements
- Undertake maintenance and general housekeeping of allocated production areas
- Communicate with team members and the Production Team Leader to ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved
- Monitor allocated inventory of raw materials and components for manufacture
- Take good care of allocated company tools
- Ensure any manufacturing issues are escalated as necessary
Hours
Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm (37.5 hours per week)
Experience Needed
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, as would experience of using hand tools
- The ability to adhere to strict production deadlines
- The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to provide clear and concise communication, either verbally or in writing
- To be a good team player
