What’s the opportunity?

If you’re about making people smile and delivering a great service for customers, you could be the perfect fit. You’ll need a Category C1 vehicle licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). We’ll sort the rest. Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but personality and the ability to learn new skills are considered more important.

What does the role involve? You’ll:

• Deliver and install furniture in customers’ homes
• Work through a delivery schedule with the support of your teammate
• Support the wider distribution centre team in loading and unloading furniture onto vehicles
• Provide excellent service and encourage customer feedback
• Carry out checks and drive safely to keep the team safe
• Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off; flexibility required in peak periods
• Heavy lifting

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in a driving role
• Category C1 vehicle licence
• Driver digital tachograph card
• Relevant driver CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
• Knowledge of safety requirements when operating a vehicle and familiarity with tacographs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling (heavy lifting)
• Hard working and a team player
• Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
