Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic NCLEX-RN Trainer to join our esteemed faculty team. The trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating high-quality NCLEX-RN preparation courses for international nurses. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the NCSBN Test Plan, Next-Generation NCLEX (NGN) question formats, and evidence-based teaching methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery:
- Conduct online digital training sessions for international RN candidates preparing for NCLEX-RN.
- Deliver interactive classes covering NCLEX domains: Management of Care, Safety & Infection Control, Health Promotion, Psychosocial Integrity, Basic Care & Comfort, Pharmacological Therapies, and Physiological Adaptation.
- Teach all NGN item types (e.g., case studies, extended drag-and-drop, bowtie, matrix, highlight).
- Use multimedia, simulation-based teaching, and adaptive learning tools effectively.
- Develop and update NCLEX curriculum in alignment with the latest NCSBN blueprint and Next-Gen exam changes.
- Create structured lesson plans, topic-wise handouts, presentations, and visual aids.
- Design clinical scenarios, concept maps, and illustrative tools to explain complex concepts.
3. Assessment & Evaluation:
- Create and evaluate mock tests, quizzes, and practice questions to assess student performance.
- Provide personalized feedback and performance analytics to each student.
- Track candidate progression and readiness using data and recommend additional support if needed.
- Mentor and guide students throughout their NCLEX journey.
- Organize doubt-clearing sessions, peer discussion groups, and motivational webinars.
- Offer individual counseling and exam readiness strategies to improve candidate confidence.
- Coordinate with curriculum teams, instructional designers, and academic coordinators.
- Maintain records of student performance, attendance, and course completion.
- Prepare weekly/monthly training reports for internal leadership and licensing partners.
- In-depth knowledge of the NCLEX-RN exam structure and NGN test item formats.
- Expertise in adult learning principles and digital learning tools (e.g., Kahoot, Mentimeter, LMS platforms).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical background and ability to explain pathophysiology and pharmacology with ease.
- High level of organization, adaptability, and student-centered approach.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher (MSN preferred).
- Registered Nurse with valid license (RN license from US/Canada preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of total nursing experience, with at least 3 years in NCLEX training or nursing education.
- Prior experience training international students or working with a global nursing academy is a plus.
- Certification in Nursing Education or relevant teaching credentials (e.g., CNE, TTT) preferred.
