New Health is seeking an experienced Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to join our remote clinical team.

You'll play a key role in reviewing patient consultations, making prescribing decisions, and supporting patients through innovative online healthcare services.
About the Role As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, you will work autonomously within New Health's clinical governance framework, reviewing consultations and prescribing treatments safely and appropriately.
You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a high level of clinical accountability and professional practice.
Key Responsibilities Review patient consultations and determine prescribing eligibility.
Prescribe treatments in line with clinical protocols and governance standards.
Conduct video or telephone consultations when clinically required.
Respond to patient queries regarding treatment, eligibility, and side effect management.
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
Escalate safeguarding concerns and complete Patient Safety Incident (PSI) reports where necessary.
Contribute to the development and improvement of clinical protocols and documentation.
Participate in clinical governance and team meetings as required.
Work flexibly to support patient demand across our remote services.
What We're Looking For Essential Requirements Active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPh C).
Independent Prescribing qualification.
Experience in telemedicine, remote consultations, or protocol-based prescribing.
Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Confidence using digital healthcare systems and technology.
Ability to work independently within a remote environment.
Secure and confidential home-working setup.
Desirable Experience Prescribing experience in
Weight Management Men's Health General Practice services Previous experience within a GPh C-regulated online pharmacy or digital clinic.
Availability to support evening and/or weekend sessions.
