We are looking for an experienced and driven Tenders & Bids Manager to lead the qualification, planning, coordination and submission of high-quality bids and tenders across the business. This role will take ownership of the end-to-end tender process from opportunity assessment through to submission and post-submission clarifications, ensuring every response is compelling, compliant, and aligned with our commercial strategy.

Working closely with our Commercial Development, Operations, Finance, HR and Clinical teams, you will ensure that each tender clearly communicates medneo’s value proposition, meets all client and governance requirements, and reflects our commitment to quality, accuracy and excellence. You will also play a key role in managing bid pipelines, maintaining tender tracking systems, and continuously improving the effectiveness, efficiency and success rate of our submissions.

What You’ll Be Doing...

  • Lead the qualification, planning and execution of bids and tenders in a professional, compelling and compliant format
  • Own and manage the full tender lifecycle, including timelines, inputs, reviews, approvals and submission
  • Coordinate cross-functional input to ensure accurate, consistent and high-quality responses
  • Draft, edit and quality-check tender content, ensuring clear messaging and strong value articulation
  • Ensure all submissions meet client instructions, evaluation criteria and governance requirements
  • Manage post-submission clarifications and feedback
  • Maintain tender tracking databases and manage opportunity pipelines
  • Support Commercial Development Managers with opportunity identification, bid strategy and win themes
  • Monitor tender activity, success rates and pipeline status, producing regular reports
  • Capture lessons learned from unsuccessful bids and feed insights into future submissions
  • Drive continuous improvement across tender processes, templates and standard responses

About You...

  • Proven experience in bid, tender or proposal management, ideally within healthcare, diagnostics or NHS-facing services
  • Strong bid writing and proposal development skills, with the ability to produce persuasive, structured responses
  • Highly organised, methodical and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tenders
  • Confident working with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement and Clinical stakeholders
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working with pricing, financial data and commercial strategy
  • Knowledge of NHS and public sector procurement processes is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proactive, resilient and calm under pressure
  • Passionate about quality, accuracy and continuous improvement
