A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join a well-established, highly respected practice offering both Hospital and Branch work across beautiful Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. You’ll benefit from a supportive environment, a dedicated night team, a varied caseload, and a clear career development pathway.
Highlights:
- Location: Oxfordshire (Hospital & Branch Sites)
- Hours: 4 days per week (8:00am–6:30pm) — alternative patterns considered
- OOH: Approx. 1:10 full weekends (day shifts) occasional Saturday morning consults
- Time Off: Monday morning off after full weekend; full day off following occasional night shift
The Role:
You’ll be primarily based at a busy Hospital site, with some sole-charge work at local branches. The role offers a balanced mix of consultations, surgery, hospital shifts and occasional ambulatory work, all supported by excellent nursing, reception, and coordination teams.
- 15-minute consults (longer allocated for complex cases)
- Dedicated night team, ensuring smooth handovers at the end of your shift
