Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse – 12-Month Maternity Cover

An exciting opportunity has become available for a confident and compassionate Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team near Crawley on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

About the Role:

  • 12-month fixed-term maternity cover

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 8 years of experience across independent and branch practices
  • RVN qualified since 2017
  • Confident in both sole charge and team-based settings
  • Competent in all routine nursing duties including anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, consulting, and schedule 3 procedures
  • BVNA Oral Care Certificate holder
  • Proven experience developing nurse clinics and mentoring junior team members
  • Previous head nurse experience with leadership, appraisals, and practice operations
  • Comfortable working with exotics and small animals
  • Adaptable, friendly, and confident using various clinical systems
