Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse – 12-Month Maternity Cover
An exciting opportunity has become available for a confident and compassionate Locum Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team near Crawley on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
About the Role:
- 12-month fixed-term maternity cover
- £23/hour (D.O.E.)
- 4 to 5 days per week

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 8 years of experience across independent and branch practices
- RVN qualified since 2017
- Confident in both sole charge and team-based settings
- Competent in all routine nursing duties including anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, consulting, and schedule 3 procedures
- BVNA Oral Care Certificate holder
- Proven experience developing nurse clinics and mentoring junior team members
- Previous head nurse experience with leadership, appraisals, and practice operations
- Comfortable working with exotics and small animals
- Adaptable, friendly, and confident using various clinical systems
