About the Role

Fixed Term Contract – Maternity cover from September up to 13 months

Job location: Hillingdon

Salary: Up to 52k FTE - TBC depending on locum or contract

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.
  • Deliver exceptional care to patients, carry out nurse led appointments, assist with surgeries and procedures.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges.
  • Support the clinical and reception team.
  • Support with insurances.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Clinical coach for student veterinary nurses (SVNs), helping with supporting practical skill development and completing NPL or e-portfolio and providing mentoring.

You will work between 25 to 40 hours per week across Monday - Friday, on a shift pattern between the hours of 8:30 am and 7:00 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. (days and hours can be flexible but you must be available for a minimum of 3 to 4 days per week)
