The Role
We are seeking an exceptional upcoming graduate/postgraduate AI/ML Engineer to join our innovative team and help shape the future of personalised education. You will work to create personalised content for students to optimise their examination performance.
- Develop and optimise strategies for validating high-quality educational content including videos, diagrams, and interactive materials.
- Enhance our proprietary architecture which combines teaching theory, neuroscience, and AI to create personalised learning experiences.
- Collaborate with our education team to ensure content alignment.
- Improve our language analysis and progress tracking LLMs to better assess student understanding.
- Work closely with the full-stack development team to integrate AI solutions into our platform.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1st class BSc from a Russell Group university in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and optimising production-grade AI systems, particularly with transformer-based architectures.
- Impeccable history of academic achievement within secondary education.
- Deep expertise in fine-tuning and optimising multi-LLM architectures with measurable performance improvements.
- Experience building AI systems that maintain scientific accuracy while generating educational content at scale.
- Published research or significant contributions to open-source projects related to educational AI or personalised learning systems.
- Demonstrated ability to balance theoretical AI knowledge with practical implementation in user-facing applications.
- Experience developing robust evaluation frameworks to measure AI accuracy, particularly in educational contexts.
- Strong understanding of the latest advancements in multimodal AI models for generating visual, textual, and interactive content.
- Able to commute 4 out of 5 days a week to our office in Kings Cross, with Wednesday being work from home.
