We are looking for a passionate Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team at Medly. This is a new role working closely with our hands-on Technical CEO and other Full Stack Engineers to build and improve our web and mobile products. You will play a pivotal role in high-impact projects across our entire stack, from crafting polished user interfaces in Next.js and React Native to building robust backend services in Python. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone eager to learn fast, take ownership, solve real problems, and help power the next generation of educational technology.
- Build and maintain features across our web app (Next.js) and mobile app (React Native)
- Contribute to our Python backend and help improve API performance
- Collaborate on database design and write efficient queries in Postgres
- Work with AWS services to deploy and maintain our infrastructure
- Ship polished, user-facing features that directly impact student learning
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and other Full Stack Engineers on high-impact projects
Requirements:
- Recent graduate or up to 1 year of professional experience
- Familiarity with JavaScript and Next.js (React or React Native experience is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Eagerness to learn cloud services (AWS experience is a plus but not required)
- Quality Focus: Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to shipping polished, bug-free experiences
