We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to join our fast-growing team at Medly. This role is all about shaping the design of our US version of the AI-powered tutoring app to help us reach true product-market fit stateside. You will take full ownership of the design experience for our US users - creating beautiful, intuitive interfaces, running experiments, and deeply understanding student needs. This is a high-impact opportunity to define the look, feel, and usability of a product that will transform how students learn.
- Optimize the UI/UX of our US-facing product to drive adoption and engagement.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to refine features and improve key metrics.
- Lead focus groups and feedback sessions with students to ensure designs meet real needs.
- Consider every detail of the user experience, from copy and micro-interactions to visuals and overall flow.
Requirements:
- Grew up in the US with a strong knowledge of the pre-university education system.
- ~2β3 years of industry experience in UI/UX design.
- Proficiency in Figma and a track record of delivering polished design systems.
- Excited by mission-driven tech and motivated by building products that create real impact.
- Experience ideating, prototyping, and experimenting with AI tools.
- An online portfolio showcasing mobile app and/or web design work products.
Quality Focus: Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to shipping polished, bug-free experiences.
Office Presence: Able to commute 4 out of 5 days a week to our office in Kings Cross, with Wednesday being work from home.
