Are you an experienced Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant looking for a role to tide you over on a short term basis? Medlock Partners are supporting a thriving Warrington business as they look to cover a period of absence. This person will join a knowledgeable, supportive and friendly team.
We are seeking an experienced individual to provide interim support until at least the end of the year. This is a hands-on role based on-site within the client's modern and vibrant Warrington base. We are ideally looking for somebody who can quickly integrate into the business and be able to make a significant contribution to the monthly management accounts process for the required duration.
Experience is key - whether the individual is qualified, studying towards a professional qualification or qualified by experience (QBE), this is not as important as having good practical experience producing management accounts.
Responsibilities may include tasks such as:
- Production of monthly management accounts in line with internal reporting deadlines.
- Variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Revenue Analysis and reporting.
- Calculation and posting of monthly accruals & prepayments.
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register.
- Cash management.
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
- Ad-hoc reporting.
- Other finance-related duties as required.
Person Specification:
- Part-qualified accountant, qualified or QBE.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Confident, team player and able to work to deadlines under pressure.
- Highly analytical.
- Motivated to work to high standards with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills – particularly Excel.
- Immediate availability and willingness to work on-site in Warrington.
- Team player, adaptable, reliable.
