For over 30 years, this family-run logistics business has built a reputation for delivering reliable, flexible and customer-focused warehousing and distribution solutions. As an independent business, they combine the personal approach of a family company with the expertise and capability to support customers across a wide range of industries.

We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor, this is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, managing employee relations cases and supporting managers across a fast-paced operational environment.

About the role
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with UK employment law and GDPR.
  • Support HR projects, employee wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor role.
  • Strong employee relations and case management experience.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Payroll support experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • CIPD Level 3/5 is desirable.
