Based in Wellingborough (Northamptonshire) or Wednesbury (West Midlands). Permanent. Hybrid working offered once relationships have been built; however, regular travel will be required for this role.

Key responsibilities of the Senior HR Business Partner:
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver the people strategy across multiple sites
  • Coach and develop operational managers and leadership teams
  • Lead workforce planning, organisational design, and talent development
  • Manage complex employee and industrial relations, including pay negotiations and union engagement
  • Champion culture, safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement
  • Provide HR insights to drive performance and workforce productivity
  • Lead and develop an operations-aligned HR team
Key requirements of the Senior HR Business Partner:
  • Proven Senior HRBP experience in a fast-paced, heavily operational business, e.g. manufacturing, industrial. Must have a physical presence in an operational environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership coaching skills
  • Experienced in complex ER, IR, and union negotiations is essential for this role
  • Strategic, data-driven, and resilient, with a hands-on approach
  • Experience of managing and developing teams
  • Happy to travel across UK sites and must be happy to be on site to meet business needs.
