We’re looking for a Digital Skills Trainer to join a successful Legal 500 firm. You’ll support the firm’s strategic goals by designing and delivering high-quality digital learning solutions across our full range of IT applications, tools, software and hardware and play a key role in new-joiner onboarding, ongoing learning programmes and bespoke training projects, helping both legal and business teams build confidence and capability with digital technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the firm’s Digital Skills Learning Strategy in collaboration with the wider team
- Design, develop and maintain engaging digital learning content, including courses, videos and online resources
- Create training for legal applications using Microsoft 365, AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot), in-house systems and strategic firm projects
- Use digital learning tools such as Camtasia, Articulate and SharePoint
- Support learners through coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using Kirkpatrick’s 4-level model
- Maintain learning records and ensure materials remain current and relevant
- Deliver training across UK offices when required
- Provide specialist support to internal teams and occasional external clients
- Support system testing, integrations and continuous service improvement
- Work securely and in line with firm policies and procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Legal, HR or Finance environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to create clear, engaging learning materials
- Confident translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Strong organisation, planning and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable working with third-party suppliers
- Willing to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends
- Strong IT troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
