Medlock Partners are working exclusively to find our client an ambitious, commercially minded HR professional to join a high-performing People & Talent team as a People Partner. Whether you're already partnering with the business or you're a Senior HR Advisor ready to step into your first People Partner role, this is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience and make a real impact.

Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you’ll play a key role in shaping the people agenda, driving organisational change and creating an outstanding employee experience. This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to influence decisions, build strong relationships and support a growing business through an exciting period of change.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver people strategies that support commercial objectives.
  • Coach and influence managers, building capability and confidence across all people matters.
  • Lead and support organisational change, restructures and TUPE projects.
  • Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, providing practical, commercial advice.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and performance through to reward, development and exit.
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work alongside the wider People & Talent team to develop talent, succession plans and learning initiatives.
  • Champion a positive, engaging culture where colleagues can thrive.

About you:

You’ll be an experienced HR generalist who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working closely with the business. You’ll have:

  • Experience as a People Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and a sound understanding of UK employment law.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures or TUPE.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Confidence coaching and challenging managers constructively.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance people needs with business priorities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional colleague experience.
