A leading international law firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Associate (2–3 PQE) to join its high-performing Corporate team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level corporate lawyer to gain exposure to high-quality domestic and cross-border transactions, working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of corporate matters.
The Role
You will work on a varied mix of corporate transactions and advisory matters, including:
- Private and public M&A transactions
- Private equity investments and exits
- Public company matters, including listings, governance and capital markets transactions
- Joint ventures, restructurings and strategic investments
You will be involved in drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, supporting on deal execution and working closely with clients across the full lifecycle of transactions.
The Team
The Corporate team advises a diverse client base including large corporates, private equity investors, growth companies and listed businesses across a variety of sectors. The team operates within a national and international platform, meaning you will regularly collaborate with colleagues across offices on complex and cross-border matters.
The Candidate
Qualified solicitor with 2–3 years’ PQE in corporate law. Experience in M&A, private equity or corporate advisory work. Training gained at a national, City or strong regional firm. Strong technical drafting and analytical skills. Commercial mindset and enthusiasm to develop client relationships.
