Medlock Partners is partnering with a Liverpool based construction and facilities management company to secure an accomplished Finance Director for a 12-month fixed term contract, with the strong possibility of a permanent role in the future.
Our client is a well-established construction and facilities management business with an annual turnover of £50 million. They have a solid reputation in the industry and an active portfolio of projects across the region.
This role requires a Finance Director who can operate at both strategic and operational levels. You will work closely with the Board on financial strategy while managing the hands-on day-to-day accounting team of 6. With significant projects ongoing, your expertise in cash flow management will be crucial to the company's continued success.
- Strategic financial planning and reporting directly to the Board
- Overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations
- Expert management of cash flow for multiple concurrent projects
- Development and implementation of financial controls
- Management of banking relationships and financing arrangements
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets and forecasts

Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven (and recent) track record in senior finance positions within construction or facilities management

- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on financial management
- Experience with financial systems implementation and process improvement
- Commercial acumen with focus on performance improvement
