Real Estate Paralegal – Progressive National Firm Location: Flexible UK Offices / Hybrid Working Salary: Dependent on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Hybrid (3 days office/ 2 WFH) An established national law firm is looking to appoint a capable and proactive Real Estate Paralegal to support its expanding commercial property practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their legal career in a high-performing yet supportive environment, working with experienced solicitors on a broad range of property-related matters. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to engage in both routine and complex transactions. Key Duties: * Managing Transactions: Take responsibility for progressing your own caseload of commercial property matters, ensuring smooth handling from initial instruction through to completion. * Document Handling: Draft and review standard legal documents including lease agreements, licences, undertakings, and reports, making effective use of firm templates and guidance. * Client Interaction: Maintain professional communication with clients and external parties, keeping them informed and ensuring expectations are met throughout the transaction lifecycle. * Title Checks & Searches: Carry out due diligence, including reviewing title documents, analysing property searches and producing clear summaries for fee earners or clients. * Post-Completion Work: Deal with all necessary post-completion steps such as SDLT returns, Companies House filings, Land Registry applications, and responding to requisitions. * Compliance & File Maintenance: Ensure accurate file management in line with internal protocols and regulatory standards. * Team Contribution: Offer flexible support to team members, assist on larger transactions where needed, and help resolve queries or issues promptly using your initiative. * Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience as a Paralegal in a property or real estate department * Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines * Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently * Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels * Familiarity with key post-completion procedures and standard documentation in property transactions This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated paralegal seeking hands-on experience in a nationally recognised firm offering high-quality work, long-term career development, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution within a thriving legal team
