This position offers the opportunity to influence business transformation by bridging the gap between technology and business operations, ensuring data and digital solutions support strategic objectives across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners to improve data capabilities, enhance governance, and deliver high-impact technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, building trusted relationships and translating business requirements into practical IT and data solutions. * Support the development and ongoing improvement of enterprise data governance, data quality, and information management practices. * Ensure third-party technology providers and software solutions align with organisational standards, governance requirements, and best practice. * Analyse and interpret business data to provide meaningful insights that support operational and strategic decision-making. * Assist users and project teams by providing expertise on business applications, underlying data models, and system functionality. * Enable secure and efficient access to trusted data for internal teams, regulatory reporting, and external business partners. * Collaborate with project managers, technical specialists, and business owners to deliver technology initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned with business priorities. * Partner with data governance and application management teams to drive service improvements and operational excellence. * Contribute to the continuous development of IT Business Partnering practices, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and process improvement across the wider technology function. Skills & Experience * Degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience. * Proven experience within the services sector, ideally in banking, lending, or credit-related environments. * Demonstrated ability to influence technology and data initiatives that support business transformation. * Strong understanding of enterprise applications, data management, and IT architecture. * Practical experience writing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyse business data. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences across multiple locations and levels of seniority. * Experience translating business challenges into scalable technology and data solutions. * Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. * Strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation abilities, with the confidence to balance competing demands. * Commercially minded with a focus on delivering measurable business value. * Passion for emerging technologies, data innovation, and continuous improvement. * Comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on environments, adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a structured and delivery-focused approach.
