Legal Support Assistant Permanent – Full Time Manchester – Hybrid (1 day per week from home) Are you looking to start your career in legal support and gain hands-on experience in a busy, professional team? Our client, a highly regarded law firm with multiple award wins, is on the lookout for a motivated Legal Support Assistant to join a dynamic legal department in their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone highly organised, attentive to detail, and eager to learn. The Role As a Legal Support Assistant, you’ll provide vital administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and helping deliver excellent service to clients. What You’ll Do Collate documents and prepare bundles for legal matters. Coordinate incoming and outgoing post, both paper and electronic. Assist with file opening, closure, and archiving, following compliance requirements. Support billing processes and liaise with Accounts when required. Maintain accurate client records and case files. Provide general office support, including meeting coordination and stationery management. Assist with onboarding new starters and work experience placements. Provide timely administrative support to the team and clients. What We’re Looking For Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Previous administration experience (6–12 months) is a plus but not essential. Accurate typing skills.
