Employee Experience & Engagement Specialist in Droitwich

Employee Experience & Engagement Specialist 39 hours per week Fixed Term Contract – 12 month Based in Droitwich Medlock Partners are looking for an Employee Experience & Community Engagement Specialist to help create a positive and engaging employee journey from recruitment and onboarding through to ongoing development and retention for a growing, global business. This role will lead employee experience initiatives, build relationships with universities and community organisations, support early careers programmes, and strengthen the organisation’s employer brand. You’ll work closely with HR, Marketing and Talent Acquisition to attract, engage and retain talent. Key Responsibilities of the Employee Experience & Engagement Specialist: Employee Experience & Onboarding * Develop initiatives that improve employee engagement, inclusion and retention. * Coordinate recognition, wellbeing and employee engagement activities. * Own the onboarding experience, including induction programmes and resources. * Gather and analyse employee feedback and recommend improvements. * Track employee experience and onboarding measures and support related action plans. Community & University Engagement * Build relationships with community organisations, charities and workforce development partners. * Coordinate volunteering, CSR and community initiatives. * Develop partnerships with universities and colleges. * Support careers fairs, internships, placements and early careers recruitment. * Represent the organisation at relevant community, university and networking events. Employer Brand & Social Media * Work with Marketing and Talent Acquisition to strengthen the employer brand and EVP. * Create and promote authentic content highlighting employee experiences, career opportunities and workplace culture. * Support LinkedIn, careers channels and employer review platforms such as Glassdoor. * Promote recruitment, community and employee events across relevant channels. * Monitor social media and employer brand metrics and use insights to improve activity. Key requirements for the Employee Experience & Engagement Specialist: * A degree or equivalent in HR, Business, Communications, Marketing or a related subject. * Around 3–5 years’ relevant experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Campus Recruitment or a similar field. * Experience delivering employee engagement, onboarding, recruitment or community programmes. * Strong project management, organisation and communication skills. * Excellent relationship-building and presentation skills. * Experience with employer branding, social media or content creation. * An understanding of social media and employer review platforms and their analytics. * A data-driven approach, with the ability to interpret engagement and recruitment metrics.
