Polish-Speaking Paralegal

Medlock Partners are delighted to be working with a progressive and supportive law firm based in Salford, who are looking to appoint an experienced, Polish-speaking Personal Injury Paralegal to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior personal injury experience, particularly in EL/PL, RTA, or medical negligence, who is looking to work within a busy, high-performing team and make a real difference to the local Polish community.

Key responsibilities of the Personal Injury Paralegal:

  • Liaising with clients in both Polish and English, providing updates and explaining legal processes in simple language.
  • Managing your own daily task list and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documentation, including CFA packs and client-care letters.
  • Arranging medical examinations and chasing medical reports.
  • Scheduling and attending telephone conferences with counsel, experts, defendants and insurers.
  • Assisting with settlement negotiations, costs schedules, and Part 36 offers.
  • Attending conferences with counsel and, where required, court hearings alongside solicitors or litigation executives.
  • Supporting fee earners with case progression and general litigation tasks.

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or litigation executive in personal injury (EL/PL, RTA, or clinical negligence experience desirable).
  • Fluent in Polish and English, with the ability to translate complex legal and medical terms.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, client-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with any case management system (Proclaim experience advantageous).
