Medlock Electrical Distributors is seeking an ambitious and experienced Branch/Showroom Manager to lead our established electrical wholesale branch and associated decorative lighting showroom in Newbury Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a dual-focus business where you can drive both electrical trade sales and the commercial success of the decorative lighting showroom.

The Role:
As a Branch Manager, you will be the commercial and operational leader of the Newbury Park location, with oversight of both the trade counter and the decorative lighting showroom.
People & Culture: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing branch team across both the wholesale and showroom functions.
Commercial Growth: Promote the business, expand the trade customer base, and drive sales growth across both the electrical and lighting product lines.
Customer Excellence: Aim for exceptional customer service, cultivating strong trade and retail relationships to ensure the continued success of both departments.
What Are We Looking For:
We are specifically seeking proven electrical wholesale professionals with a passion for leadership and commercial growth. Experience engaging within designer, architectural or commercial lighting is highly valued.
- Proven Track Record: Required experience of managing a full-service electrical wholesaling business (1+ years).
- Design & Specification Experience: Experience working with, supplying, or managing relationships with architects, interior designers, or specialist lighting suppliers is a significant advantage.
- Commercial Acumen: Sound commercial judgement and the energy and enthusiasm to continually develop the business.
- Leadership Skills: Strong people management skills and an appreciation for the difference in managing trade and showroom teams.
