We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our physicians and ensuring efficient patient care. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent clinical and administrative skills, dedicated to providing a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients efficiently, ensuring comfort and readiness for examination.
• Accurately measure and record patient blood pressures and other vital signs.
• Assist physicians with minor procedures, preparing equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.
• Perform room turnaround for procedures promptly and effectively, maintaining cleanliness and stocking supplies.
• Administer injections as directed by the physician, following proper protocols and safety guidelines.
• Manage prior authorizations for medications, working with insurance companies and pharmacies to ensure timely approval.
• Triage patient calls, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and directing calls to appropriate personnel.
• Perform phlebotomy, averaging approximately 20 blood draws per day, demonstrating proficiency and patient comfort.
