Up to £72,000 pro rata per year We are lucky to be located in the very attractive market town of Darlington, County Durham. The town offers easy access to great transport links by rail and road to visit beautiful nearby countryside for those well-deserved down days. Or, for domestic or international trips, it is only a short commute to Teesside International Airport for UK and European destinations. Middleton St George is one of our 2 practices within the area and has been providing clients with consultations and preventative treatments for many years with a loyal client base. It has recently undertaken major renovation work at this surgery, allowing us to extend our services to include outpatient surgical. Our Stanhope Road practice is a 5 Vet practice, along with our Head RVN and a strong clinical led Nursing team. It is RCVS accredited and a proud ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly practice and can accommodate all types of major surgery. Adjacent to the practice is the beautiful Stanhope Park, ideal for a relaxing lunch break, or a little bit of sport with Tennis and Basketball courts available. We are offering this on a part time basis of an average 24 hours per week. We offer a relocation package if relocating from outside the UK or more than 60 miles from your current UK address. In this role you will: Deliver exceptional clinical care to your patients during consultations and procedures. Provide exceptional care to your clients, giving clear updates on patients. Deliver professional excellence, observing the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance. Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient with clear cost estimates. Engage, mentor and develop your team, enhancing their skills and utilising these in the most effective way. Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out of hours or enhanced care. Pro-actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community. Your Skills and Experience: RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon. Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills. Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture. Experience of supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
