This is a brilliant opportunity for a vet with at least two years’ UK small animal experience who loves the buzz of a busy clinic, enjoys a true mix of consulting and surgery, and wants to be part of something exciting.
Our practice has recently undergone a fantastic refurbishment, giving us a fresh, modern space that reflects the ambition of our team. You’ll be joining a welcoming and fun team environment, working alongside a three‑times surgery certificate holder and supported by an exceptional nursing and client care team who keep the days running smoothly (and enjoy a laugh along the way). We also work closely with our nearby Medivet 24‑hour hospital and surrounding branches, giving you access to great clinical collaboration and seamless internal referrals for more complex cases.
We’re well equipped and ready to put your skills to good use, with laparoscopy, endoscopy, TTA kit, patella luxation equipment, high‑quality ultrasound, digital and dental X‑ray, capnography and ventilators all available in practice. If you enjoy being hands‑on in theatre and seeing cases through from start to finish, you’ll feel right at home here.
Located in a vibrant suburban spot with excellent links to Manchester, Liverpool, the Lake District and stunning local countryside, Bamber Bridge offers the perfect work‑life blend. We offer a four‑day week, no out‑of‑hours, and a fair share of weekends (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends), with flexibility open for discussion because we know balance matters.
