An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take the lead at Medivet St Albans, located on a busy high street in St Albans. Surrounded by local shops and opposite a large supermarket, the practice benefits from a strong community âvillageâ feel and a loyal, growing client base. Currently supported by locums, this is a fantastic chance for a confident vet to step into a role with sole charge and truly make the practice their own.
This role is ideal for a passionate vet looking to build caseload and shape clinical direction, with both surgical and medical interests welcomed. Youâll have the autonomy to develop the practice while being supported by a wider network, including nearby Medivet Rysdale. With no fixed clinical bias, this is a rare opportunity to grow your skills, establish strong client relationships, and develop a rewarding, varied caseload.
Set in the historic city of St Albans, not far from the stunning St Albans Cathedral, the practice offers the perfect blend of heritage, vibrant high street living, and excellent transport links. Itâs an ideal location for those wanting a mix of city convenience and community charm.
Full-time hours are 40 per week, with a 1 in 6 weekend rota at Medivet Watford 24-Hour or 1 in 3 Saturdays (shared across four clinics). Part-time applications are also warmly welcomed.
