Medivet Peterborough Welland Road is a small animal, multi-vet practice, led by our experienced and knowledgeable Branch Partner who is currently recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The lovely team at Welland Road is made up of 3 Vets, HVN, SVN, VCA and the practice is fully equipped including three consult rooms, ultrasound, dental and digital x-ray.
This role is covering 30 hours per week which will consist of Monday and Tuesday 10:30am-7pm with the remainder of the time being flexible to spread across the rest of the week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-2:30pm. It would be great if you had a clinical coaching background or are interested in carrying this out to support students through their training.

Role Accountabilities:

- Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
- Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule activities.
- Deliver patient monitoring and care.
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
- Dispense and check medication.
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
- Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
